Thank you very much for your interest in making a booking with Homefield.  We like life to be happy and simple, so if you decide to book a treatment, course, or a stay with us, we want to ensure that we’ve been transparent on our terms and conditions in order to manage expectations and avoid confusion in our relationship with you.  We’d be happy to answer any of your questions to ensure it’s right for you.

Residential Stays

Full payment is needed at the time of booking.  Once booked, if you need to move or cancel your booking you can do so by giving us a 30 day notice.  A £100 administration charge will apply to any changes made.

Cancellations after this time will result in you forfeiting monies paid, (sorry there are no exceptions).  We’d be happy for you to nominate someone else to take your place and highly recommend that you consider travel insurance to cover potential eventualities.

You need to be over 18 years of age to attend one of our detox packages. We do not recommend our detox packages for pregnant ladies.  If you have a serious medical condition, we highly recommend you ask your doctor to view our web site and package information before booking.

By making a booking at Homefield you are agreeing to the following rules previous clients have asked us to create:

  1. Homefield’s venue, gardens, car park and grounds are smoke free, (many of our guests are asthmatics). A £200 ‘deep clean charge’ will be automatically added to your account in the event of non-adherence.
  1. Clients like our high standards throughout the retreat and particularly our lovely beds & bedding. Any item, (sheets, quilts, pillows, bathrobes, towels etc) damaged by application of hair dyes, false tans or cosmetics will be automatically charged to your account at £50 per item.
  1. Missing items from your room will be automatically charged at £100 per item. If there is any information you would like on our stockists please ask reception.  We will be happy to help you buy the item for yourself.
  1. Your rooms are equipped with herbal tea making facilities. Food, soup and juices are to be consumed in designated kitchen/dining areas only please to ensure your room is kept to a high standard.
  1. Homefield has a 10pm QUIET TIME. Turn off anything that creates noise, (TV, radio, music, talking on phones).  Have plenty of rest and aim for some early nights.  Your body will thank you for it the following day.
  1. There is no dress code here – however clients feel more comfortable and relaxed by wearing indoor flip flops, or slippers around the retreat.
  1. Mobile devices can be used around the retreat for taking photos only. Please refrain from talking on your phone or using recording devices in the communal areas, gardens and grounds.
  1. We provide free parking at our venue, however, the management will not be responsible for the security of your vehicle or its contents.
  1. We love taking care of you – so if something is not going well for you, let a member of the team know. Only we can do something about it – so give us the chance to put things right.
  1. Finally, your booking means you are accepting our ‘zero policy’ towards disruptive clients, who will be asked to leave immediately without refund. Make the best of your time here with us and put your ‘mind’ as well as your body in the zone.  A detox is an ‘opportunity’ to learn about you and your true wants and needs in life – it needs to be viewed in a positive light.  If your mind views a detox as a ‘challenge’ you’ll find it very difficult to create long term successful change for a healthier, happier life.

Treatments Non Residential

1. Payment for treatments and courses is taken at the time of booking.

2. 48 hours cancellation policy.  A 100% cancellation fee is in place.

3. To qualify for course discounts, full payment needs to be made upfront.

4. Courses cannot be transferred or cancelled once started.

5. Courses need to be used within a 12 month period.

6. Clients must be 18 years and over to attend Homefield.

Exercise & Yoga classes at Homefield

All our exercise & yoga classes aim provide the best and safest teaching. We do ask you to take responsibility for your own health and care. Please listen to your body and respect it. Your ability may vary from session to session depending on your state of well being fitness, tiredness, and or stress levels. Work in a way that feels right for you on any given day. Pain in the body is a warning system that should not be ignored.

Please advise your teacher before commencing any session if, for any reason your health or ability to exercise changes (i.e. muscle soreness, joint pain, pulled muscles, minor injuries etc.) Please inform your teacher immediately if you feel any discomfort during a session. Please also inform the teacher if you felt any discomfort after the previous session.

If you feel unwell, head cold, dizziness, sickness etc. It would be prudent not to attend class. This is primarily for your own safety and wellbeing. (Your powers of concentration and performance levels may be below par and however slight, there is an increased risk of injury) and also in consideration for the comfort, well being and health of other members in the class.

As with all forms of physical exercise, it is prudent to consult your doctor before starting, especially if you are recovering from illness or surgery.  The sessions are not a substitute for medical counselling or treatment.  If you have any doubts about the suitability of our exercise or yoga classes you should refer back to your medical practitioner. 

If you are new to Yoga, it is not advisable to do yoga between weeks during the first trimester of pregnancy, unless by special arrangement with your teacher. It is also wise to wait six weeks after the birth before resuming exercise.

Clients participate at their own risk. The teacher can accept no liability for personal injury related to participation in a session if: Your doctor has on health grounds advised you against such exercise. You fail to observe instructions on safety or technique. Such injuries caused by the negligence of another participant in the class or studio.

It is advisable to drink water during and after sessions to re hydrate the body and to help flush out toxins that may have been released by your body as a result of the exercise programme. Increasing your water intake (6-8 large glasses per day) will also help to promote and improve general health and well-being.

Please also note that some of our exercise and yoga classes may involve ‘hands on’ tactile correction and if for any reason you are not comfortable with this please let your teacher know prior to commencing the class hereby consent for my teacher to work in this way.
