Recently, there have been several celebrities showing off their new bodies following dramatic weight loss. In case you’ve missed them, we’ve seen:

Coleen Nolan

Coleen who lost 2 – 3 stone (she’s not sure, she doesn’t weigh herself) following a vegan diet. Her choice of a vegan diet was inspired more by health concerns rather than weight loss, having watched two of her sisters battle with cancer. She says she “feels much better than I have ever done”.

Matt Lucas

Matt Lucas realised that lockdown had done nothing for his health or his weight so embarked on a regime to lose weight, and get healthy. He has lost a considerable amount of weight by eating less and moving more. He was helped, he says, by his housemate who is a Personal Trainer who emphasizes a positive mindset.

Adelle

Adelle – famously lost 7 stone. She claims that cutting down on sugar (she used to drink 10 cups of tea per day with 2 sugars each!!) and working out 3 times per day helped her shift the weight. She acknowledges however, that not many people have the time or space to exercise 3 times per day!

Martine McCutcheon

Martine McCutcheon has lost one stone. She had found it tough to lose baby weight after the birth of her son and some recent health challenges, and wanted something quick and easy to follow. Her choice was the Cambridge Diet which uses meal replacement shakes, bars, and soups.

Lorraine Kelly

Lorraine Kelly has dropped two dress sizes without dieting. She says her weight loss was due to “portion control and not snacking, as well as being sensible”.

Congratulations to all these lovely people on their life changing new regimes!
