It’s now an established fact that your diet and the quality and quantity of food you eat play a massive role in how you look and feel.
Deficiencies in vitamins and minerals and excess of preservatives, colourings and chemicals, have a strong influence on the function of your body. Research now shows that a bad diet really is a serious risk factor for a number of diseases that can impact the way you live your life.
If you’re wanting to make some positive changes to how you look and feel, Homefield offers you the chance to get some targeted, personalised nutritional advice that can save you time, money and cuts the confusion.
Feeling good and enjoying life is much easier if you eat the right foods. If your gut is happy, so are you!
You’re a unique individual and so are your nutritional needs. We can help you find out what’s right for you.
Ring 01536 712219, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm, to book your consultation. We’ll be happy to help.
Since 2005, we have seen thousands of clients come through our door looking for help with weight loss, skin conditions and motivation for positive lifestyle change.
In our busy world, it’s very easy to forget about yourself. Homefield is your reminder that you’re worth looking after. There is only one you and life needs to be lived to the full. We can help.
A Nutritional Consultation can help with the following:
Gut Issues (constipation, bloating, IBS symptoms)
Suspected Food Intolerances/Allergies
Menopause & Hormonal Symptoms
Before the consultation you’ll complete a questionnaire detailing your health status and current daily lifestyle habits.
You’ll also discuss in detail the concerns you have and what you wish to achieve for yourself.
Your practitioner will then discuss and advise you on the best way forward. This involves working together to establish realistic and practical goals that you can start to apply to your everyday life immediately.
We’ll help you create an eating plan that will help you feel good about yourself in your mind and body. You may well be advised on specific supplements aimed at supporting new positive dietary changes.
Homefield’s nutritionists are fully qualified and have undertaken extensive training over years, at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.
You can rest assured that our experienced Nutritionist is registered with BANT (British Association Nutritional Therapists) and work with integrity and empathy at all times.
She will help you understand the link between your diet and the presenting symptoms you may be experiencing.
We would never recommend a nutritional consultation as a replacement of your doctor’s advice, however we have found from experience that knowing the right foods to eat can play a powerful role in supporting and enhancing your health and wellbeing.
The number of consultations you book is completely up to you. We’ve found what works well is to book an initial consultation, put the recommended changes into place and rebook for a follow up in 2-3 months.
Your needs as an individual are very unique and a Nutritional Consultation with us will be targeted for your specific needs. However, here is some general advice to follow regardless of your age, medication and health concern.
Stay Hydrated. Your body cries out for fresh clean water every day. Flush your cells, cleanse your blood, improve your energy levels by drinking 2 litres daily.
Dark Green Leafy Veggies. Kale, spinach, salad greens, all vitally important to provide your body with nutrients that help you stay well.
Cut out the sugar! Each time you eat biscuits, cakes, sausage rolls, confectionery, etc you rob your body of essential minerals that help you move, sleep and think well. Think of this food as “dead food” – the only thing you gain from eating them is calories.
When You Eat. Breakfast and lunch need to be your most substantial meals of the day. Evening meals need to be eaten at a time that allows four hours gap before you climb into bed. By 6pm your digestive enzymes begin to diminish – it’s not the time to be eating a heavy meal. Aim for a soup, salad, some grilled veggies, light fish dishes, small veggie stir fry.
How You Eat. If you find your body is piling on the pounds around the middle, you’re probably eating in a stressed state. Proper digestion needs you to be in a ‘parasympathetic’ mode, (rest and digest). If you’re eating with one hand on your lap top, or talking on the phone, your cortisol levels will be up, which means you’ll store your lunch as fat instead of useable fuel. Slow Down, take your time for a 30 minutes breakfast and lunch. It’s essential for weight management.
Healthy Eating. What do you think healthy eating is? If you think it’s about giving up things, not having treats, you must’nt and you should’nt, your belief around healthy eating needs to be challenged. So many of us make eating a battle, it need’nt be that way. We can show you how to enjoy nourishing your mind and body in a caring, mindful way. Give us a ring on 01536 712219, 10am to 4pm daily, to book your Nutritional Consultation today.

"Homefield Grange provides the kind of detox that you dream of. By that I mean, it doesn't’ feel difficult! Their delicious juices and homemade soups, along with various therapies, long walks and good conversation make the days fly by." *
It was wonderful to be able to find somewhere to go in the UK that is such a high standard a real 5* health experience. The staff were lovely, everyone so friendly and helpful. I’ve been a detoxer for years, and yet I've learnt a lot of new things, especially kitchen time spent with Hans, learning a new way of raw food cooking which I’ll be using all the time… the food, honestly is just delicious and fresh. Live blood analysis was amazing……..I saw a huge shape change in a week (a lot of exercise went into it too) and have booked again already!*
"I came for a detox, and left with a fabulous Lifestyle change. After a week I was lighter, brighter and cleansed. I've been making smoothies ever since, and it really shows. Thanks Homefield" *
I have just completed my third stay at Homefield Grange, the last one being 18 months ago. I can honestly say that I have never had such an enjoyable or beneficial week’s holiday. I feel fit, energised and so well rested and relaxed. Homefield was its usual cocoon of care and luxury. All the staff on hand can’t do enough and really care about us all as individuals. The group was supportive and so friendly; it’s just been like a week’s country house (healthy) party. Having recently lost a lot of weight I was in a good position to take advantage of everything on offer, and the programme has been honed to perfection over the years. The mix of food, exercise, education and pampering is spot on. Since I last came the big thing for me has been the introduction of Decleor products in the treatment rooms. I had a Decleor aromatherapy massage and facial, and both were to die for. For anyone thinking of coming-just do it! I will be back early next year.
This photo taken ten days after my first HydraFacial treatment, I love the brightness it's given me, it's really made my skin glow. When results like this are so visible after the first treatment, a HydraFacial is now a part of my monthly beauty routine at Homefield.
