I’ve never done anything like this before – should I feel nervous?

We understand that if it’s your first time to Homefield you may feel a little apprehensive or anxious.  We promise to put your mind at rest as soon as you walk through our gates.  We are a professional, yet friendly bunch and you have nothing to worry about.  Our team will be supporting you and your fellow guests in working towards to same goals.

Can I come on my own?

Many of our clients do come on their own, however whether you decide to come for yourself, or with friends and family, you will be treated as our valued guest.

What’s a typical day?

Your day will include usage of our amazing wellness spa, (herbal sauna, salt steam room, infra-red benches, deep relax water beds, infinity hydro pool, magnetic loungers, aroma showers, kneipp water therapy), gym and fitness studio.  There is a minimum of 2, often 3 hours of exercise per day.  The majority of days we have health talks, food demos and movies.  Both your included therapies and optional additional treatments will be scheduled around these activities and your detox food/juice options.  Nothing is compulsory.

I am coming by train to Kettering – do I need to book a taxi?

Taxis are always available at Kettering station.  Please give the driver our address as shown on your confirmation email.  (As we have been operating for many years, most of the taxi drivers know our location.)

What if I don’t want to take part in a planned activity?

Nothing at Homefield is compulsory – everything is optional – your choice.

Do I need to be fit to attend the exercise classes?

Our exercise classes are suited to everyone and our instructors will modify the intensity according to your fitness levels.

How much weight will I lose?

The average weight loss we have seen on our programmes can be 1-3lbs per day.  Results are highly individualistic and Homefield will not guarantee a specific figure.

What if I have a medical condition?

Please consult with your doctor if you feel there is any medical reason that may prevent you from joining activities included in our packages.  Bring any needed medication with you.  Visit our list of terms and conditions and view the ‘contra indications’ section on our web site for guidance.

What is the age limit to attend Homefield?

A minimum age of 18 is required for our residential programmes.  There is no upper age limit for our packages, however our guests need to be able to walk up and down stairs, place their luggage in bedrooms and be independently mobile.

What is the dress code?

Relaxed and informal – wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  A list of recommended clothing items will be sent with your booking confirmation.

What if I want different dates to advertised programmes?

Our Ultimate and Intensive programmes run weekly, beginning Monday afternoon and our Re-boot runs every Friday to Sunday.  On occasions we are able to offer alternative dates, outside of those listed.  Please phone reception with your enquiry.

Which food and juice option should I choose?

On arrival you will benefit from a check in with one of Homefield’s practitioners.  Depending on your goals, we will help you decide for yourself whether the light diet, or the juicing option is the best choice for you.

How do I prepare for my stay and what do I bring?

Your booking confirmation will provide you with guidance on how to prepare for your time with us and items to bring with you.

How do I book additional treatments?

A downloadable treatment menu is available on our web site.  Please phone reception on 01536 712219, 9am to 5pm daily for bookings.  We highly recommend booking your choice of therapies before your arrival.

What if I need to cancel?

To ensure you have a full understanding of our cancellation policy, we recommend reading our terms and conditions as listed on our web site.

When do I pay?

Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept BACS, debit or credit cards. We do not accept Amex or cheques.

How do I book?

Book online through our website or phone our reception on 01536 712219, 9am - 5pm daily. By booking, you are accepting our terms and conditions listed on our website.

I am pregnant, can I come to Homefield?

We don’t recommend a spa experience for pregnant ladies.  We would love to see you after the happy event however!

What if I have a medical condition?

If you are unsure regarding a medical condition, please ring us to discuss. We will be happy to answer any of your concerns or questions.

What’s included?

Various packages have different treatments included, however we provide use of towels, gowns, spa slippers, purified water, still and sparking water, unlimited herbal teas and a 2 course health lunch, (deliciously healthy and vegan).

How many people do you take?

Homefield is a boutique health and wellness venue.  In total we only accept 25 day spa guests to ensure you feel completely relaxed and unhurried.

Do you have men and women attending day spa?

Currently we only accept ladies for our day spa packages, however there may be men also using the spa as part of their residential wellness retreat programmes.

I don’t know what to do in a spa?

Homefield will provide you with a layout of our wellness spa and also provide you with a customer journey on how you can achieve the best benefits.

Where do I find out about additional therapies?

Please download the treatment menu from our web site, or visit our web site and view the different categories of treatments available.  We would be happy to help you decide on the best ones for you.  Give us a call.

How do I book additional therapies?

Additional therapies are booked through our reception.  We recommend you book before your arrival date to avoid disappointment.  Reception hours are 9am to 5pm daily.

Do I need to dress for lunch?

Dress code for your day is relaxed and informal.  Many of our guests will sit in their robes for lunch.

Can I come on my own?

Yes you certainly can.  Sometimes its good to get away from it all and do something for yourself.  You will be looked after by our lovely team.

What are the opening times?

The spa opens from 10am to 4.30pm for day spa guests.

What do I bring with me?

A full list of items to bring, and items that Homefield provides will be sent in your email confirmation.

When do I pay?

Payment is taken at the time of booking.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age for a Homefield Grange day spa package is 18 years of age.

Based in beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, just a short taxi ride from Kettering station and less than an hour from London. We’re easily accessible by train or road.

We are a ten minute taxi ride from Kettering Station. East Midlands Trains operate a direct 55 minute journey time from St Pancras station twice every hour.
